Over the course of his career, Father Emmanuel has taught around the world. Beginning in January 2013, he received a joint-appointment from the University of Notre Dame in both the Theology Department and the Kroc Institute for International Peace Studies (now part of the newly found Keough School of Global Affairs).
In addition to his teaching, Father Emmanuel’s research is sponsored by the Contending Modernities project as it explores the reality of Catholicism, its interaction with other religious and secular forces, and its potential for shaping a future of peace on the African continent.
