Founded by Fr. Emmanuel Katongole, Bethany House draws on his entire life as a priest, a professor, and a pilgrim. The vision and name of the house is inspired by the New Testament stories that take place in the village of Bethany. The mission of Bethany House is to foster a christian vision of mission and reconciliation in an atmosphere of rest, reflection, and renewal.
Located within the quiet neighborhood of Entebbe on the shores of Lake Victoria, and just ten minutes from Entebbe airport, Bethany House serves ideally as a guest house for Christian ministry leaders coming to or passing through Uganda. It also serves as a retreat place for leaders and practitioners who need a quiet getaway to rest, reflect, and be renewed.
